Mozilla announces a new dedicated VPN service — Mozilla VPN — renaming Firefox Private Network VPN.
Mozilla was working on a dedicated VPN service — Firefox Private Network VPN and recruiting Beta testers from over 200 countries around the world in 2019. Now the company has announced that the Firefox Private Network VPN is all set to exit from its Beta phase in the next few weeks and will available to the public soon, and the service is renamed as Mozilla VPN.
During Beta testing, 70% of users say that the VPN helps them feel empowered, safe, and independent while being online. Also, 83% of early Beta-testers found the VPN easy to use.

Mozilla VPN is going to be a paid VPN service that offers browser-level or device-level protection to protect you online. The VPN service will be available in selected regions this year.
According to the company, the Mozilla VPN will be available at the current pricing model — $4.99/month — for a limited time, which allows privacy protection up to five devices on Windows, Android, and iOS. So this means that it is possible that in the future the price will rise.
