Apple Set to Enter Smart Display Market with iPad-Like Device

According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on a smart display resembling an iPad. According to reports, the device has a magnetic mounting mechanism for attaching to walls, charging stations, or a combination of both, making it a low-cost, home-friendly smart device. The smart display will largely handle FaceTime calls and control other smart home devices.

This decision by Apple is not surprising, given the growth of the smart display industry in recent years. Amazon and Google have already produced their separate smart screens, the Echo Show and Nest Hub. Apple’s smart display and the incoming Google Pixel Tablet will most likely compete with these devices.

According to Bloomberg, insiders also stated that Apple might produce a bigger smart display in the future. This makes sense, given that many users prefer larger screens for video calls and streaming content.

In addition to the smart display, the story mentions an Apple TV upgrade. The latest model is expected to have a faster processor and will be introduced in the first half of 2024. This upgrade will bring the Apple TV up to speed with other streaming devices on the market and will almost certainly improve the user experience.

Apple’s entry into the smart display sector will likely be a huge step forward. The smart display is the latest in a long line of popular and creative products from the brand. With Apple’s design brilliance and the ease of a smart display, this device might become a must-have for every smart home.
