According to data from Steam, broadband consumption has exploded — breaking all records — causing servers to collapse in some areas. Compared to the previous day, the peak consumption has tripled, reaching 23.5 terabytes, with an average of 12.5 adding up the main countries and continents in which Steam is present.

The previous record was held by ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’, the video game that started the fever for Battle Royale games that reached a total of 22 terabytes at the launch of version 1.0 in 2017. At that time, there were up to 3 million simultaneous players at that time.

With this milestone, Cyberpunk achieves an important record — one of the most played singleplayer game at launch on PC.
