Norman Reedus Has Confirmed That The Death Stranding Sequel Is In Development

Death Stranding fans are in for a treat. Actor Norman Reedus, who plays Sam Porter Bridges, the protagonist of the Kojima Productions game, appears to have confirmed that a sequel is already in development.

So far, there has been no evidence of a Death Stranding 2. It is surprising that a professional like Reedus just chatted away in an interview.

Asked about his busy work schedule in recent years, which includes his participation in Death Stranding, Reedus mentioned: “We just started the second one“, in a clear reference to the video game.

Beyond what was said by Norman Reedus, what is known about the sequel to Death Stranding is null.

Although neither Kojima Productions nor Sony has confirmed that the continuation is in progress, there are some indications here and there. In November 2021, Kojima published a picture on the set with a person in the picture that resembled Reedus. In April 2022, a development kit for the PS5 was found in the developer’s office, sparking speculation that a new game for the PS5 was in development.
