YouTube Video Chapters — a new feature to break up videos into sections

YouTube Video Chapters — a new useful feature for both creators and viewers. With Video Chapters option now creators can break up their YouTube videos into different sections which really helps viewers to jump forward to a specific section of a video or rewatch a portion of a video.

Video Chapters is now an optional feature and uses timestamps from the creator’s video description to show chapters at the bottom of the video player.

To enable the feature, creators have to make sure the first timestamp listed in the video description starts at 0:00, and that video has at least 3 timestamps or chapters, with each chapter being 10 seconds or longer.

And also if the creator wants to disable video chapters on any of the content, simply adjust the first timestamp in the video description to be something other than 0:00 for example, just change it to be “0:01.”

YouTube Video Chapters is going to be one of the helpful features for viewers where they can skip the usual boring intro and can watch parts that matter.
