Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Will Be The First True Sequel To The Series

Prepare to re-enter the battlefield as Activision announces the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, set to launch on November 10. This thrilling installment continues the saga of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from 2022, promising an action-packed experience that fans have been eagerly awaiting.

The plot picks up right where it left off, with General Shepherd in hiding after a botched mission and the CIA tasking Chief of Station Kate Laswell with Task Force 141. The Russian ultranationalists have a new leader, identified by Captain John Price as Vladimir Makarov, a name that resonates with danger.

Sledgehammer Games, in collaboration with Infinity Ward, brings a fresh approach to the game’s campaign. The new Open Combat Missions (OCM) offer players unprecedented freedom, allowing them to choose their weapons, equipment, and tactics. Whether you prefer stealth or loud explosions, the choice is yours.

Multiplayer fans, rejoice! Sixteen maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been revamped, retaining their classic feel. Engage in 6 vs 6 battles or try the new Cutthroat mode with 3 vs 3 vs. 3. Ground War, Invasion modes, and the War Mode from Call of Duty: WWII are back, offering diverse gameplay options.

The introduction of the Tactical Stance, or Tac-Stancee, adds a new dimension to shooting. This innovative feature allows players to switch between sight and hip shooting dynamically. Customization options have also been expanded, with the Gunsmith offering aftermarket parts to tailor weapons to your style.

Treyarch brings the terrifying Modern Warfare Zombies, set on the largest Zombies map ever. Face the Dark Aether Zombies in an escalating battle that will test your skills and teamwork.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99, while the Vault Edition, with additional features like the Nemesis Operator Pack and early access to the Open Beta, is available for $99.99.
