Facebook has started the long-awaited integration of Instagram and Messenger

We know Facebook has been working about the possibility of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp chats integration. Now Facebook has taken the first step towards full integration between all its services.

As revealed by The Verge, many US users have had a message when they start Instagram announcing that “There is a new way to send messages on Instagram.” Among the different options that are given is to chat with Facebook contacts.

Basically, when we go into Instagram direct messages, now Messenger technology will be used.

When activated, users have found that the design of the messages tab changes, and the Facebook Messenger logo is implemented, although the possibility of sending messages from Instagram to Facebook does not exist yet.

Zuckerberg’s intention for the future is that anyone can send messages between the applications in every way and that they all implement the encryption that WhatsApp has at the moment, but perhaps to achieve this, they choose to go step by step — integrating one service at a time.
