WhatsApp will soon allow users to use the same account on multiple devices simultaneously

WhatsApp has been working on a new feature — a multidevice mode that will allow users to use the same profile on multiple devices simultaneously.

The tool is still under development, and at the moment, only internal tests have started, but the developers are working to improve it more and more.

According to WaBetaInfo, there is a hidden screen in WhatsApp beta version 2.20.196.8 that indicates the upcoming multidevice functionality in the app — where users can link the same WhatsApp account to multiple devices (up to 4) and use them at the same time.

The new hidden entry is called “Linked Devices,” and once opened, it shows all the devices on which your WhatsApp profile is active. And also, if necessary, users can delete one device from the list to make room for a new one.

For the moment, all the news regarding this multidevice feature in WhatsApp is still in development, and there is no date for the release. They should arrive by the end of 2020, but there is no certainty.
