Less Than 1% Of Netflix Subscribers Play The Games

Netflix has been betting on video games for some time as a way to offer added value to its subscribers, who have experienced a huge drop.

According to Apptopia, an analytics company, Netflix subscribers are not particularly interested in the gaming section of the service. It was launched back in November 2021 — since then, the total number of downloads has amounted to 23.3 million.

On average, 1.7 million people play Netflix mobile games every day, less than 1% of the service’s total subscribers. Perhaps the fact is that there are only 24 games in the streaming service, and company want to bring their number to 50 titles by the end of the year.

Since last November, the company has been releasing games to attract users outside of its shows. The games are only available to subscribers but must be downloaded as separate apps.
