5 Reasons Why Android is the Better Option Compared to iPhone’s

One of the most heated debates between consumers in the technology space is whether they prefer Android or the popular iPhone line of phones. The Apple product has certainly outperformed the Androids in the past, but now most people that have knowledge of technology say that the tide has changed.

Below are some of the reasons why people argue that Android is so much better for anyone compared to the popular iPhone.

Variety

Apple is known for its intention of making products for the everyday consumer and not making things complicated. This fact rings true to their variety and selection because it is lackluster compared to the Android market.

The Android market has something for everyone. They have cheaper phones, medium-priced phones, and high-end phones that stack up well to the most complex and futuristic Apple phones. The high-end Android phones are the Samsung lines.

When it is all said and done, there is much more to look at if you are in the market for Android.

Changing Your Default Browser

With iPhones, you are stuck with Safari as you default browser. It may not be a problem for most people, but there are a select few that may want to change their browser to something else.

Android gives you this flexibility to get it switched for whatever reason that you need. The flexibility is greatly appreciated and one of the little things that make them so appealing.

Adding More Storage

In almost every case, you are stuck with the amount of storage that your device came with when you purchase a phone from Apple. There are ways to get around this but it can be a hassle.

With Android phones, you can add storage to your stock phone pretty easily. There are micro SD cards out there that can instantly add more storage to your device for whatever reason that you need to. Some of the biggest reasons are to fit more apps or photos on your device. Once again, it is a tiny detail, but a lot of tiny details add up to people that are into technology at the end of the day.

Replacing Batteries

Do you know how, when your iPhone battery starts to lack, you just figure that you need a new phone? That is probably the case for most people.

With Android, you can usually just replace the battery, and it will be working like new. It is a lot cheaper to replace a battery compared to an iPhone, obviously. So, in the end, it might be a better decision to go with a Samsung phone, for example, because you can just replace the battery for most models.

Charging Cables

If you need to charge your phone and no one has an iPhone, you are going to be out of luck. Apple has its own charging cables, and they do not work with most things on the market.

With Android, any micro USB cable is going to get your phone battery charged up for when you are in a crunch. And the good news is that finding a micro USB cable is pretty easy because a lot of products on the market use one to charge.
