Amazon Is Going To Release A Tablet Which Costs 50$ Only

amazon cheap tablet

Amazon is going to attract customers with their new extremly low cost tablet. The Wall Street Journal claims that Amazon is planning to launch a 6-inch tablet that’ll cost just $50.The company reportedly outsourced a lot of the tablet’s development to overseas companies like Shanghai Huaqin Telecom Technology Co. and Compal Communications Inc. in order to help get its price down.

The new tablet is half the price of the company’s current 6-inch Fire HD tablet, and even less expensive than the company’s Kindle reader, which starts at $79.So this time Amzon will attract buyers looking for a simple and effectively disposable, device for straightforward tasks like streaming video at home and everday use.More over its only 50$ baby!.But we always know that low priced electroinic items have low quality hardwares like inferior screen quality, durability or battery life in comparison to more expensive tablets like Amazon’s larger Fire tablets and industry-leading devices like Apple Inc.’s iPad. For instance, the $50 device will have a mono speaker, rather than stereo.

Amazon faces potential new challenges, as Apple may introduce new versions of its popular iPad and iPad Mini tablets as soon as Wednesday, along with new iPhones.Amazon’s cheapest current Fire tablet has a 6-inch screen and sells for $99, including advertisements that appear as screen savers, or $114 without the ads. It isn’t clear whether the $50 price for the newest tablet includes ads.The coming 6-inch tablet is just half an inch bigger—measured diagonally across the screen—than Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus smartphone and is smaller than some large-screen smartphones known as phablets. Amazon’s device isn’t expected to have phone capabilities.

Also The Wall Street Journal reports that Amazon is planning to release the $50 device in this year that will also include tablets with 8-inch and 10-inch screens.

Forget Bluetooth,Researchers Developed A New Technology That Transmit Data Through Your Body

bluetooth alternative

Bluetooth is the ultimate way of data transferring in smartphones and wearables.however, the technology is growing there is always room for improvement.

Recently Researchers at the University of California, San Diego have developed an alternative to Bluetooth that is both faster and more secure. They said this new wireless communication technique will massively outperforms existing wireless tech by using the human body itself to help send data between devices.bluetooth alternative

The researchers explained the working principle of this prototype,it sends data signals through the body’s natural magnetic field instead of sending signals over the air. To use the body in data transmission, PVC-wrapped wires go around the user’s limbs, which generate magnetic fields for data to be sent. The wearable device needs to be circular in nature , meaning it trigger a new wave of extremely low-power wearable devices like fitness bands, smart watches, headbands, or belts.

Patrick Mercier, a professor who led the research at UCSD said that:
In the future, people are going to be wearing more electronics, such as smart watches, fitness trackers and health monitors. All of these devices will need to communicate information with each other. Currently, these devices transmit information using Bluetooth radios, which use a lot of power to communicate. We’re trying to find new ways to communicate information around the human body that use much less power,….he also added This technique, to our knowledge, achieves the lowest path losses out of any wireless human body communication system that’s been demonstrated so far.

So what are its benefits over Bluetooth?

The primary benefit is lower power consumption. In Bluetooth devices the datas are trasferred via radio signals,so the electromagnetic radiation that makes up these signals is blocked by something like walls, your body etc. This will create obstructions and resulting in ‘path loss’. So a pretty significant power boost is required to push the signal through something like the human body.

Since with this new technology the human body itself is what transmits the data, eliminating the body as an obstacle. The researchers say path loss using magnetic field human body communication is more than 10 million times lower than that of Bluetooth radios.

Another advantage of the technology could be security. Compared to something like Bluetooth, which transmits data in a wide radius of several metres, magnetic field human body communication prevents any kind of digital eavesdropping, as the signals are largely contained to your body. The researchers say information is neither radiated off your body, nor can it be transmitted from one person to another.

Researchers noted that a limitation of this technique is that magnetic fields require circular geometries in order to propagate through the human body. Devices like smart watches, headbands and belts will all work well using magnetic field human body communication, but not a small patch that is stuck on the chest and used to measure heart rate, for example.

As long as the wearable application can wrap around a part of the body, it should work just fine with this technique, researchers explained. The researchers presented their study at the 37th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society in Milan, Italy.

A Tweet That Reminds Steve Jobs was a Syrian Migrant’s Child Gone Viral

Last days we all saw a photograph of a drowned Syrian toddler that went viral in social media networks. The Kurdish boy who washed up on the beach was identified by Turkish officials as 3-year-old Aylan Kurdi in news reports. He was in one of two boats, Reuters reported, carrying a total of 23 people that set off separately from the Akyarlar area of Turkey’s Bodrum peninsula, apparently headed to the Greek island of Kos, where they could have attempted to enter the European Union. Reports suggested that their ultimate destination was Canada.

Later a tech pioneer connected some dots in a simple, powerful tweet that was soon widely shared.David Galbraith, a Geneva, Switzerland-based tech entrepreneur and designer, tweeted an iconic black-and-white photo of Steve Jobs with the words: “A Syrian migrants’ child.”The Apple founder’s biological father left Syria for the United States in the 1950s.

Galbraith is a partner at Anthemis Group, a digital financial services investment and advisory firm. He was also co-founder of MLS Ventures, an incubator where Yelp was created; a co-author of RSS, which lets individuals syndicate data using feeds; and co-founder of Moreover.com, which was acquired by Verisign in 2005.

By midday Thursday, Galbraith made a tweet, that reminds the world that Steve Jobs was also a Syrian Migrant’s Child like Aylan Kurdi. The tweet went viral with more than 4K retweets and 2K favorites.

Galbraith said he learned of Jobs’ ancestry from the Apple founder’s authorized biography, “Steve Jobs.”He also added “It contrasted that of Aylan Kurdi in every way and made me wonder what little boys like him could have achieved if they had been given the chance. In a medium restricted to 140 characters, a picture is worth more than 1,000 words.”

Google To Demote Websites Showing Giant Banner Ads To Mobile Visitors

From September onwards Google is evolving.First they introduced a new logo design. Now they come forward to double the user experience of mobile websites. As the part of Google’s growing efforts to make the Web more friendly and handy for mobile users, the company has announced that they are going to penalize websites who are showing giant banner ads to encourage visitors to download a mobile app.
Since from this year google is working hard to make mobile interface clean and easy for users, like users should get the most relevant answers, no matter if the answer lives in an app or a web page.In April, the company started to roll out an update to the search engine, popularly known as “mobilegeddon,” wherein it was aggressively downranking websites that didn’t sport a properly optimised mobile version. Now Google through Webmaster Central Blog declared that they are going to ditch those websites which shows an app install interstitial that hides a significant amount of content and prompts the user to install an app.Google said that it can be frustrating for users because they are expecting to see the content of the web page.

Google also started a Mobile-Friendly Test Tool to indicate that sites should avoid showing app install interstitials that hide a significant amount of content on the transition from the search result page. And also provided Mobile Usability Report in Search Console, that will show webmasters the number of pages across their site that have this issue.

Google also informed that Webmasters have time till November 1 to make these changes and make their mobile website more user friendly. After November 1, mobile web pages that show an app install interstitial that hides a significant amount of content on the transition from the search result page will no longer be considered mobile-friendly and will completely taken from search results.Since Webmasters can also use their own implementations of app install banners as long as they don’t block searchers from viewing the page’s content. The company has further announced that the latest filtering wouldn’t affect other types of interstitial ads including standard app install banners such as native Apple-supported Smart Banners and Google Chrome-supported ads, that is provided they are not taking much space.

Instagram Now Allow Users To Take Pictures In Landscape Mode

instagram landscape mode

Instagram, the famous photo-sharing social media service rolled out a major update, that will make its users more happy.Instagram has added new layout options in addition to its signature square for pictures and videos in a bid to attract more advertisers and to stop users defecting to more flexible services such as Snapchat. Now Instagram adds portrait and landscape options to its upload service

Facebook Inc bought Instagram for $1 billion in 2012,and this is the first major alteration done to it.The picture sharing app previously only employed a distinctive square framing method, meaning users often had to closely crop their images before uploading. And after many users demand for more framing variety, Instagram added this new feature and is also intended to encourage users to shoot more video content.

Nearly one in five photos or videos posted currently aren’t in the square format, leaving wide borders of white space, Instagram said. From Thursday onwards, Instagram’s web-based service and its mobile apps running on Google Inc’s Android system and Apple Inc’s iOS will allow portrait and landscape formats, giving both users and paying advertisers more options.Tapping the new format icon in the lower left-hand corner when uploading a picture allows users to choose between square, portrait and landscape orientations.

instagram feature
While the photo automatically uploads as square, tapping the format icon provides a choice to keep the photo in its original orientation instead of cropping it to a square

Since Instagram believes that with this new feature they will get some hike in its advertising revenue.Instagram is expected to generate nearly $600 million in advertising revenue by the end of this year and $2.8 billion in 2017, according to projections from research firm eMarketer. This move also should help Instagram in its battle with newer rivals such as Snapchat for users in the fast-moving messaging and media-sharing market.Anyway users are really thrilled after getting this feature.
