HyperOS, Xiaomi’s newly minted operating system, is set to replace MIUI in its upcoming devices, starting with the Xiaomi 14 series. It also features a revamped quick settings panel and shortcuts, making the interface more intuitive than ever.
HyperOS comes with redesigned apps and new features. For instance, the weather app now has new animations depending on the current weather conditions. The gallery app has also received a significant update, now featuring AI generative functions that allow users to change the backgrounds of images.
It also introduces new services like HyperConnect, a control center similar to Apple Home, compatible even with third-party devices. It also features HyperMind, an AI-powered assistant capable of text generation, document translation, and more.
